The State of IROC Report

IROC is excited to share our State of IROC Report!

We celebrated our seventh anniversary in September 2023! A great deal has been accomplished since our original fifteen centers came together in July 2016 to design and plan the launch of our network. We now have 44 transplant programs with a healthy pipeline of additional centers interested in coming on board.

We share the same vision, to partner with patients who have kidney disease and their families and caregivers to achieve health, longevity, and quality of life equivalent to the general population. To meet our vision, we continue to build on our infrastructure that allows us to:

• Improve Blood Pressure Control

• Reduce Acute Allograft Rejection

• Improve Quality of Life

The future is very exciting for IROC! We are actively working on the expansion and support of electronic data transfer (EDT) at sites, supporting sites as they move through the Pathway to Mastery quality improvement cohorts, developing opportunities for partnerships and projects with research entities, increasing the number of sites involved in Behavior Based Training, increasing research presentations and publications by members.

We look forward to working together with all participants to transform the care of children with kidney transplants throughout North America.
