IROC Virtual Mini Learning Session

Register now for IROC's spring virtual mini learning session

IROC Members: Join us for our Virtual Mini Learning Session on Thursday, May 15, from 3 - 5 p.m. ET! Find the registration link in your email or visit the IROC Hub.

Learning sessions bring together patients, parents, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and other site team members to connect and learn. We are excited to offer a new, abbreviated approach focusing on Network advancements and extracting value from our data to guide improvement efforts.

The session's theme is IROC Improvement Investigators: Following the Data Clues To Solve the Quality Case. Session objectives include:

  • Inspect Network priorities, progress, and evolving framework to support the IROC mission.​

  • Illustrate the 2025 CEW key focus areas and recommend resources for patient and caregiver mental health.​

  • Investigate the use of registry data for quality improvement and demonstrate applications in center IROC activities.​

IROC In-Person Fall 2024 Learning Session

Join us on Sept. 4 - 6, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio for our 17th learning session.

IROC learning sessions are valuable opportunities for our entire learning health network community—patients, parents, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and other site team members—to come together to build community, learn about the network’s latest work, share learnings, discuss important topics, and outline key actions to take through the next six-month period. The timeframe following a learning session is called the action period. Learning sessions are meant to inform and catalyze the work of the action period with the ultimate goal of partnering with patients who have kidney disease and their families to improve health, longevity, and quality of life.

Session objectives include:

  • Improve capability to reduce acute rejection at your care center.

  • Examine variation in current practice and develop standardized treatment pathways for treatment of rejection.

  • Increase engagement and partnership with patients and families by co-producing a roadmap of “the transplant journey.”

  • Learn about projects and possibilities for research using the IROC infrastructure and registry.
